Insulated panels offer architects and designers a wide range of options for roof and wall cladding. These insulated roofing panels are designed to provide higher thermal performance, structural integrity and damage resistance. These insulated panels also greatly reduce on-site fitting costs compared to conventional cladding and provide safe working platforms. Since, heating or cooling is one of the largest operating expenses in a building. Hence it is important that each building has good thermal insulation that suits the usage of the building.
Advanteges
The outer and inner metal skins of insulated panels conform to the same specifications as the single skin painted panels described above. In addition, insulated panels have a factory injected polyurethane core. Thermal transmission data can be found in the buildfab technical manual on Pre-Engineered buildings. Liner panels have one metal skin surface with polystyrene foam board adhered to it for better insulation. In the past 20 years, end-users, contractors and consultants have become increasingly aware of the losses associated with thermal transmission. the first companies to introduce polyurethane sandwich panels in the middle-east. Polyurethane has been recognized as the most resistant material to heat transmission.
