Buildfab standard mezzanines floor system consists of galvanized steel decking supported by joists connected to main mezzanine beams. A reinforced concrete slab (not supplied by Buildfab) is cast in situ on top of the steel decking. The primary mezzanines beams usually run across the width of the building and the joist usually run lengthwise (parallel to the roof purl ins).
